How long will the canvas last?

Our canvas is acid-free, archival quality and treated with a protective coating for superb image fidelity and indoor display. It also protects the canvas from sunlight, UV rays, extreme weather conditions etc.

 Are your canvas prints eco-friendly?

Yes! The canvas we use carries both Ecologo and Greenguard environmental certifications.

How do I clean my canvas?

The canvases are quite durable should resist most scratches, smudges, fingerprints, etc. You can dust canvases with a soft, dry cloth. If your canvas is damaged and needs deeper cleaning you may try a damp cloth. If the canvas gets nicked and loses ink in a certain areas it can be touched up with felt–tip markers or paint.

What kind of canvas material do you use?

Our canvas is an archival quality 6 1/2 oz multi-purpose canvas made from 100% polyester spun yarn which we then treat with a UV, water and fungus-resistant satin coating.

What type of ink do you use on your canvases?

We use HP’s innovative water-based latex inks. HP latex inks create exceptionally vibrant prints and bear the rigorous UL Ecologo and Greenguard environmental certifications, combining performance and stewardship.

My canvas has a small scratch or blemish. What should I do?

If your canvas does get scratched or bumped during its life, you may choose to conceal blemishes using pigment ink based markers that dry quickly. We recommend Copic, available at art specialty stores.

What is your turnaround time?

We’re proud to offer some of the fastest service in our industry. You will have a choice of several shipping options:

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ!

THE BEST PHOTO'S

When selecting a photo for a portrait, look for a clear bright photo. Outdoor photo's do well. Blurry or cell phone type photo's have a lower pixel and are hard to blow up to work with sufficiently, so detail is limited. I will accept indoor cell phone pics (if not too bad) but there will be a $50 extra fee. Also if your photo doesn't show the true colors of your subject, this will cause the portrait to not be what you are expecting. If the colors are off, PLEASE add a note to the bottom of the forms letting me know. And send multiple photos for me to compare to. I want your portrait to be all that it can be. With your help on selecting a photo it will be a crucial step, so please consider all of your options. You may send multiple photos (via computer please, not from a cell phone) to see which would work the best. Thank you for making your portrait all that it can be for a lifetime of wonderful memories. If for some reason I don't think your photo will work well, I will email you asking for others. To cut down on back and forth asking you, feel free to send several.

I would like to say, I am able to make subtle changes and I expect those small changes to the portrait (so that it looks like your pet or whatever we are painting) once I get close to the finished product. So please decide what you would like before ordering. If you are not sure, feel free to email me and let's talk it over and get some ideas. Once portrait is painted and you selected say, a certain color of background or alike and decide on a different color, you may incur more charges for the extra time to change it. I can do subtle changes to the subject or objects but I cannot move an object (for example a toy) once it has been placed and painted in portrait. More time would be involved. I want you to be happy with your portrait for many years but I also cannot spend a week of work on it for $75 or whatever that cost may be for your choice of portrait. Please understand my time is valuable as well and so in cases like this, I will have to add a cost for changes made. Thank you for this understanding.
